The event brought together around 70 participants, including farmers, students from the IARI Patna hub, and ICAR-RCER staff. Attendees were educated on maintaining soil health through eco-friendly practices, emphasizing sustainable agriculture’s future. Farmers from Dulhin Bazar village received soil health card reports, along with recommendations and improved fertilizers like Naro Urea and Sagarika, to promote practical and sustainable farming solutions.

Dr. Anup Das, Director of ICAR-RCER, underlined soil health as a cornerstone of sustainable agriculture and food security. He advocated regular soil testing and conservation techniques like crop rotation. Dr. A.K. Singh, Director of Research at BAU Sabour, encouraged balanced fertilizer usage for better crop yields, while Dr. Ashutosh Upadhyaya, Head of the Division of Land and Water Management, elaborated on strategies for maintaining soil and water quality.
