Universities and colleges are being engaged for carrying out Social Audit of the scheme through their students.
The digital literacy training of beneficiary would enable them to:
- Operate computers/digital access devices (like tablets, smartphones, etc.)
- Send and receive emails, browse the Internet, access Government Services
- Search for information
- Undertake cashless transactions using mobiles
Expected outcome
The Scheme would empower the citizens from rural India in:

- Preparing them to become a part of digital economy
